How to Use : ROSEROSA Professional Water-Based Adhesion Promoter

1. Surface Prep : 
Clean the surface thoroughly to remove dust, oil, and moisture. Ensure the area is completely dry before application.
Ensure the concrete slab or subfloor is fully cured. High moisture levels can cause the water-based primer to emulsify and fail.

2. Application : 
Ensure the primer is thoroughly mixed by shaking well before application. 
* Utilize a plastic spatula, short-nap roller, or brush to achieve a uniform, thin layer. * 
Avoid excessive buildup or heavy application to ensure proper drying and adhesion.

3. Curing Time : 
Let the primer dry until it turns from milky to clear and becomes tacky to the touch. Drying time typically takes 30–60 minutes depending on humidity and temperature.

Tip : 
If required, forced-air heating or a heat gun can be utilized  to accelerate the primer's curing time.

4. Application :
Once the primer is set, begin tile installation immediately. For best results, install flooring within 24 hours of primer application to ensure maximum tackiness.

Tip : 
Keep the floor clear of traffic and moisture for 24 hours after installation.

Substrate Porosity : Coverage rates are estimates. Highly porous surfaces (e.g., new concrete or plywood) will absorb more primer, which may reduce the total coverage area.

Avoid Over-application : Do not exceed the recommended coverage. Applying the primer too thickly can lead to "tile failure," where the adhesive may peel off the floor along with the primer.

• Ventilation : Use only in well-ventilated areas. Ensure a consistent flow of fresh air during both the application and the drying process.

• Protective Equipment : Avoid direct contact with skin and eyes. It is recommended to wear protective gloves and safety glasses throughout the handling and application process.

• First Aid Protocols:

  • Skin Contact : In the event of skin contact, wash the area thoroughly with soap and water.

  • Eye Contact : In the event of eye contact, rinse cautiously with water for several minutes. Seek medical attention immediately if irritation persists.

• Storage & Handling : * Keep the container tightly closed when not in use.

  • Store in a cool, dry place at temperatures between 5°C and 30°C (41°F to 86°F).

  • Do not allow the product to freeze.

• General Safety : Keep out of reach of children and pets. Do not ingest.

• Substrate Compatibility : Always perform a test on a small, inconspicuous area first to ensure full compatibility with your specific subfloor material.

• Coverage Warning : Do not over-apply. Excessively thick layers of primer can weaken the bond and may result in "tile failure," where the adhesive peels away from the substrate. Follow the recommended coverage guidelines to ensure maximum bond integrity.
