1. Preparation

• Clean the Surface : Ensure the subfloor or wall is completely clean, dry, and flat. Remove any dust, grease, oil, or loose debris.

• Acclimatization : Let the tiles sit in the room where they will be installed for at least 24 hours to reach room temperature. This helps prevent expansion or contraction after installation.

2. Measurement & Layout

• Measure : Calculate the area of your space to determine how many tiles you need.

• Plan : Find the center of the room and start laying tiles from the center outwards to ensure a balanced look.

• Cutting : Our tiles can be easily cut to size using a utility knife and a metal ruler. Measure twice before cutting for a perfect fit.

3. Installation

• Check the Direction : Important : When installing, please ensure that the arrows on the back of each tile are pointing in the same direction. If the directions are inconsistent, it may cause the colors to appear different after installation.

• Peel : Simply peel off the protective backing paper from the adhesive side of the tile.

• Stick : Place the tile firmly onto the surface, aligning it carefully with your layout.

• Press : Press down firmly across the entire surface of the tile, especially the edges, to ensure a strong bond.

4. Finishing Touches

• Seal: If installing in a high-moisture area, we recommend using a silicone sealant along the edges for added protection.

• Clean: Once installed, wipe the surface with a soft, damp cloth. Avoid using harsh chemicals that could damage the finish.

Pro-Tip : For the best results and long-term durability, ensure the surface is perfectly smooth. If you are applying these over existing tiles or uneven surfaces, you may need a leveling compound or primer first.

Critical Installation Notes

• Directional Alignment : For a uniform appearance, you must align the arrows printed on the back of each tile in the same direction during installation. Failure to maintain this orientation may cause visible color variations due to the light-reflecting properties of the finish.

• Surface Preparation : The substrate must be clean, dry, and free of dust, wax, grease, or loose debris to ensure a secure adhesive bond.

• Thermal Acclimatization : Allow tiles to acclimate to the room temperature for at least 24 hours prior to installation to minimize potential expansion or contraction.

Care & Maintenance

• Cleaning : Maintain the surface by wiping it with a soft, damp cloth.

• Avoid Harsh Chemicals : Do not use abrasive cleaners or harsh chemical solvents, as these can damage the protective coating and finish of the architectural film.

• Moisture Protection : For installations in high-humidity or moisture-prone environments, we recommend applying a professional-grade silicone sealant along the edges to prevent water ingress.

• Heat Sensitivity : Please be advised that this product is manufactured from PVC. Direct contact with extreme heat sources, such as hot pots or pans, may cause the material to warp, melt, or sustain irreversible damage. We recommend using heat-resistant pads or trivets to protect the surface in areas prone to high-temperature contact.
